Pueblo, Colorado Emergency Food Assistance Programs

Each household must meet one of the following household income eligibility criteria to be potentially eligible to receive an allocation of commodity foods at any scheduled distribution.

  • Participation in any of the following federal or state programs:
    • Colorado works (with copy of award letter)
    • Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP)
    • Old Age Pension (OAP)
    • Aid to the Needy Disabled (AND)
    • Aid to the Blind (AB)
    • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
    • Medicaid Eligible Foster Children
    • Electric Benefit Transfer (EBT) (with copy of award letter)
  • Household containing Foster Children as defined in Staff Manual, Volume VII (7,708.1). Family size will be based only on the number of Medicaid eligible foster children living in the household.
  • Household “Gross” monthly income declared by the household at or prior to the scheduled distribution shall not exceed the following income guidelines (2008):

ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED IN PERSON BY THE INDIVIDUAL APPLYING FOR SERVICES

  • Colorado Picture ID
  • Proof of Total Household Income
  • Verification of Correct Address
